Cristian Castro
Geotechnical Engineer
Cristian Castro is a Mining Engineer with a Master's degree in Mining from the University of Chile and an MSc. in Data Analytics and Decision Science from RWTH Aachen University in Germany. With ten years of experience as a Ground Control Engineer in open-pit mines and as a rock mechanics consultant in Itasca, Cristian has expertise in numerical modeling in rock mechanics and blasting engineering. His specialization includes slope stability analyses, blasting engineering projects, and applying machine learning models in rock mechanics.
